Suggested itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Paris. Depart for the Loire valley and a guided visit of the huge château of Chambord, François I's masterpiece with its 365 chimneys.

Day 2

Depart for the Vouvray vineyards on the north of the Loire river and taste the white wines. Visit to the château of Chenonceau with its period furniture and tapestries, astride the Cher river.

Day 3

Visit a mushroom museum in many underground galleries and then some cave dweller houses.

Day 4

Visit a Villandry castle and its wonderful terrassed gardens. Free afternoon in Tours.

Day 5

Discover the Mini-châteaux park where the châteaux model-scales are reproduced. Visit the "Enchanted house" : a world of automatons. Transfer to the airport.
